When trimming round my ezmounted stamps, l press the sides of my scissors into a clear versamark pad to stop them from getting sticky. Works great!

Keep an old magazine (a big one out of the weekend newspapers if possible) on your crafting desk. When you craft, use a new page of the magazine as your work surface, this way all the glue, paint, mess etc doesn't end up on your desk or cutting mat. Once you've finished creating, just turn the page, and voila, a new clean surface ready for next time! :-) (ps. don't use rubber stamping mags though LOL)

Use an emery board or nail file for sanding small pieces of chipboard, and a painter's sanding block (from a hardware store!) for quickly sanding large areas of patterned paper or backgrounds.

Remember when coloured brads were everywhere? Give your old brads a new lease of life by sanding them back and giving them a shabby look! This also works if you paint or emboss them first in a new colour - rub back gently with sandpaper to create a lovely timeworn appearance.

Store your opened rubons in a document folder with clear pocket pages. To stop them sticking, place baking paper into the sleeve pocket, and place your rubon with the sticky side facing the baking paper. This stops the rubons from sticking to the sleeves, and you can easily browse to see what you've got.

Here's a tip for using the tissue paper that we send your parcel in!

Crush it in your hands so that it is evenly crumpled, smooth out and then apply a complementary colour of ink with a brayer.  Gold and silver look great!

Here's a good one with Christmas coming up!

Keep the little toys from inside of the bon-bons.  They are great to paint and use for a unique embelishment!!
