What is Tyvek®?

Made from 100% high-density polyethylene fibres, Tyvek® combines all the best physical properties and characteristics of paper, film, and fabric - in one exceptional material that is lightweight, flexible, smooth and very strong.

What is so exciting about Tyvek®?

Because Tyvek® does not tear or rip except by cutting with a sharp object, you can stitch through it, ink it, paint it, etc. What is exciting to me is that after decorating it, I can use my heat gun and create an interesting distorted bubbled surface as Tyvek® shrinks when heated.
